Thad Rummer has had a run of bad luck. Two of his business ideas have failed. Three of his wives either died or ran off with other men. One ran off with another woman. After losing himself in drink for a few years, he woke up from an inebriated state and saw the news on the television at his local bar. The Muskrats were forming, and Sad Thad decided to do something about his predicament.

After just one match, Sad Thad has grabbed the team lead in casualties with two. A couple unfortunate little buggers came across Sad Thad in the middle of his "anger" moment of drinking.

With a broken collarbone, Thad has decided to hang up the jersey and return back to what he does best: drinking heavily.
