Simon isn't really a bloodthirsty killer, like you might suspect from his current career stats. The thing is, that after learning of Anders Samuelsen's dream of one day killing one target from every sentinent race, Simon decided that it might be a fun idea to turn that goal into a bet. Despite not being fueled by hatred and wishing dearly to slay as many sentinents as possible, like Anders Samuelsen, Simon Emil Ammitzbøll has proven to be much more capable of reaching this goal. This drives Anders mad with rage, which Simon in a post-match interview has stated that he "find sort of funny, I guess" but that he'd "rather play as a catcher, should that position ever become avalible".
Simon finally got to live out his dream as a catcher and scored a touchdown during a drive in which Messerschmidt was in the dugout, kncoked out. Prompted to comment on the touchdown in a post-game interwiev, all Simon had to say was "Please don't tell him". Someone did, and after suffering a minor injury in a game versus a necromantic team, Simon somehow mysteriously died after the apothecary gave him a look-over.
