Hjalti is a savage and brutal force upon the pitch. Alongside his friend Bulrik, the two Ulf kin are notorious for their unholy strength and stamina and it is because of this the Brawlers are able to compete against the toughest of opponents. Unfortunately Hjalti has the unfortunate habit of overextending himself. He is regularly seen as amongst the first if not the first player to be karted off into the dugout after a particularly rough blow to the head.

This has not discouraged him remotely however and he intends to see through his career to the end, be it as a legend upon the Blood Bowl pitch or as another one of the dead.

Hjalti's lust for fighting has gotten the better of him. After fighting one too many scraps against his favour, he has emerged a shadow of his former self. His body, wrecked with scars and old wounds, has failed to recover and is now no more stronger than your average Norse man. However, Hjalti still has no intentions of leaving the team, even while pardoned by Ullric. A gouged eye, fractured ribs, a punctured lung,fractured leg and a recently recovered broken arm along with other terrible injuries, it is a wonder he is still alive. Hjalti still wishes to have the honour of dying on the field and his comrades too hope that for his own sake, he is mercifully slain on the pitch.

Mercifully, Hjalti finally met his end against a Chaos Dwarf team. Taking one block too much, something in the battered beast's body gave in and he was no more. Bulrik mourns his loss above all else.
