The Norse were never renowned for their disciplined plays. In fact most of their strategy involves running headfirst into the enemy and beat the ever living snot out of them! Nafni was one of the few, however, who had managed to aquire the skills in kicking the ball accurately. This was looked upon with suspicion by the other Norse but Nafni cared little as he was contributing in another way to the team rather than just bashing heads.

He was promptly killed the very first match he put his skills to the test. After kicking the ball off to the other side of the field, Nafni ran head first into the enemy ranks. Despite taking grevious hits and suffering many greusome looking wounds, Nafni persevered against the Chaos Dwarfs. It was his misfortune howevver that he was impaled on the horns of a Minotaur. The apothecary said that it was both a slow and agonising death.

Since then the position of Kicker on the Northern Brawlers has been seen as cursed. Further proven by his successor, Armod.
