Gunnald is the second replacement for Agnar the Berserk. His predecessor,Barkviork, met a swift end to his career after a horrifying confrontation against a Chaos team which left twitching Norse in its wake. Gunnald having attended the match as a participant of the crowd, eagerly tracked down the Northern Nasty Brawlers to sign up to the team to show them what he was made of.

While sporting the usual traits of a typical berserker, lust for fighting, love of beer and women, and a ferocious temper, Gunnald's love for fighting is second only to the ravaneous Hjalti. Compared to his predecessors Agnar and Barkviork, he has a lot to live up to. He has made it quite clear to his team mates that he is convinced that he is more then capable of doing so but it has yet to be seen.

Gunnald was always very vocal about his own capabilities and they were soon to be tested against a vicious Chaos team filled with horrific mutations and extra limbs all designed for one thing: Killing! Gunnald met his horrific end when the he was gutted by the enemy Chaos Warrior. By some miracle still being alive, he called out for the apothecary but his cries were cut short as the mighty Warrior leaped on top if him, flattening what little was left of the unfortunate Norseman.
