Josef Clangeddin come from a famous Dwarven family of Blacksmithers. During his childhood Josef Dad asked his son to be able to work the Metal like a true dwarf and stop running after rabbits like a damn woman.

Josef then worked for 15 years at the metalshop of his father giving him a solid grip and a not negligable strenght. But poor Josef was not happy with that kind of life he wanted to feel the wind in his hair and run, he always wanted to run, that was against his nature to stay in place hammering a piece of armor or a newly crafted Axe.

When the Lothern Olympic were announced to take place next year, Josef traded his hammer for a solid pair of Black Shoes and started his training.
The Clangeddin youngest son wanted to be a champion to the discipline called Running.

After several month of hard labor Josef tough he was ready for the olympic. Poor Josef, during the competition he finished 8th on 12 runners. All the damn elves were teasing him with their woman voice and worst of all a Frog beat him right before the End line by jumping over him with a ribbit sound.

That take more than that to turn a dwarf from their ultimate goal so after this insulting finish, Josef restarted his training resolve to beat at least the frog and maybe an elf or two in the next Olympic.

That is when a member of the consul of the King came to him and ask to serve his city and race by doing what he was born to do.
