Frustrated by the rapid expiration of their last two Witch Elves on the Blood Bowl field, the Red Wings coaching staff have taken radical steps to try and counteract this disturbing trend by hiring Poliyana.
Cursed with a terribly human sounding name due to a mix up involving the High Priest of Khaine, a bottle of spiked communion wine, and a blood fued lasting generations, Poliyana detests her name so much that she actively seeks death at every opportunity.
While this may not seem to be the perfect forumula for having a Witch Elf actually stay alive, the coaching staff at the Red Wings are speculating that since their last two Witches were so keen to hang on to life, having one actively seeking death will no doubt ensure a long and healthy careeer for her.
Poliyana's fanatical persuit of her own demise also makes her as formidable an opponent as you are likely to see, as she demonstrated to grizzly effect at the last Red Wings training sessions.
