Irzik is well known for his comically large catching gloves and his incredible speed. While he is no elf, Irzik is the team's ball carrier and it is common sight to see the fellow run with almost half a team baring down on him. Unfortunately he has not actually scored that many touchdowns, but the fact he gets the ball up field tends to enough for another Goblin to scoop the ball up and run it into the end zone.
While Irzik would much rather be scoring the touchdowns for himself, he is at least happy enough that he contributes to the team in some way. He is also known to be the designated "thrower" which in Goblin terms the player to be thrown by the trolls in the last minutes of the game. Irzik being completely ignorant of the Troll's love for Goblins, the greenskin is more than happy to help the team further, even if it means for a few broken ribs and cracked skull. He is always ready by the next match at least.
