Dave Spit is the teams old man up front, a combat veteren of the scrimage, he relished the idea of 'fronting up' and 'getting stuck in' right up untill he took a knock to the knee and twisted his cruciate ligament resulting in a sever loss of pace and motivation for the game. He would much rather be sat in an office somewhere rubber stamping washing machine invoices but a wasted youth eating marbles and putting spikey 'things' into holes has left hiim the the employment porspects of a used teabag. Like so many professional sportsmen with limited vision he is totally screwed and trying to make the most of it.
