Chardeux was an officer in the Legion before it was disbanded, war having been replaced by Blood Bowl. But foreigners and fugitives still needed a place to earn their daily bread with a side of training and camaraderie, so it was his idea to from a Blood Bowl team from the remnants of the foreign legion. Being the most senior officer of all former legionnaires on the team, he has had the job thrust upon him of team captain and coordinator.
