He passed away trailing the team's 21st match after having the performance of a lifetime, though Nuffle's affections were to of course turn the tides on this young hopeful. Upon suffering a critical injury during the aforementioned match an incredibly callous act from management resulted in his ordered execution as a sacrifice after being resuscitated by paramedics.
