Lars was a poor kid in the wrong part of the city. Between crime and poverty, no one could predict the bright future he would get.
Working before school as a paper delivery boy, Lars start a game of his own to make his route less boring. So he fantasized he was the starting thrower of a major bloodbowl team when he throwed the newspaper to the people doors.
Day after day, week after week, he played that game.
But a person can only deliver newspapers for some time. Being good at school in math related disciplines, he completely failed all the others.
Being forced to drop school after his dad left the family, he worked to provide for his family. Until one day his little brother brought him a flyer announcing the Rejected's presence in the city for some prospection.
All the interested people should go to the stadium. Conceeding to his mother and little brother request he went and upon his return he brought with him a signed contract with the Yer Grove Rejected Heros.
