One of the few players who came out of the match against Shotgun Hobos looking good was Gnashfang, who delivered a crushing hit at their lineman that both showed how he got his name and left H. G. Pennypacker unable to continue playing. In the post-match interview their coach Rico told the press that Pennypacker suffered a pinched nerve that will keep him out of the squad for at least the next few matches, but he is expected to make a full recovery. Gnashfang was unsurprisingly disappointed at hearing the news and he swore he would sharpen his fangs to guarantee a different result the next time he gets the head of an elf between his jaws.
