St. Georg was formerly a Christian employee in King Diocletians army during which time he reportedly slew a humongous dragon guarding a precious water reservoir. As Diocletian is no longer fond of Christians he had to flee to the Old World. Failing to find any dragons, he took up an equally dangerous and bloody sport.
