Derek the DoubleJointed was hired to the SDG's under a cloud of confusion.
While passing a travelling circus, the SDG's came across a contortionist and could break out of small cages and performs feats of incredible flexibility.
This resulted in Willfrig "accidentally" allowing Pygmalion and Amalgam to beat the living snot out of Derek the DoubleJointed and recruiting him to the team.
Derek is often found teasing the zombie cohort of the team with his superior flexibility, by removing their ears, dropping them on the floor, and walking away. This results in the zombie portion of the team spending a good 15 minutes trying to retrieve dropped items.
