Before joining the Demons, Thorn was a notorious bandit. He had his own band of ragged villains, and they would ambush caravans in the deep desert, stealing all that they could lay their hands on and leaving no survivors. Thorn was quick as a snake and regularly poisoned his daggers, but he had not the charisma of his right hand man, and he was eventually betrayed. They beat him nearly to death and left him in the wastes to rot. Thorn crawled his way into an abandoned wezer den and managed to survive. He happened upon a tribe of escaped slaves, slaughtered them in the night, and with their water made his way to Tyr. He spent many years taking assassination jobs from the nobles there, but eventually tired of being at the beck and call of such pompous stuffed shirts. He joined the Demons out of respect for Drake's reputation for ferocity and ruthlessness.
