Yiahak had been working as a smuggler and underground merchant in Naggaroth for a while (at least he states so), when he was finally caught by the Dark Elves. Luckily for him, a mixed group of Chain Breakers and
Arbiters fans were rampaging through the street near the stadium where the two teams
had just met for the first time when this happened. He was able to use to tumult to escape and vanish into the fan crowd. As he was now known and wanted by the authority, he did the only thing he could to get some kind of immunity: He joined the Chain Breakers.
While
Chain Breaker himself said he didn't trust the new recruit yet, team captain
Noeth and the rest of the team either accepted him or do not care about such things as loyalty and trust at all. He also somehow managed to be awarded Most Valuable Player twice in no time.
There can be no doubt he shows some effort to improve the team, although perfecting kicking the ball at the beginning of a drive has probably not been without ulterior motives, as it makes him too valuable to put him at the Line of Scrimmage...
Payback time seems to have come a couple of games later, when he got seriously injured by an opponent and the team's apothecary held back on treating him, not giving him more than the basic first aid procedure.
In his
7th game, Yiahak had to suffer again, getting his back damaged by some dark elf. Again, the apothecary did not show much passion and rather focused on all the KO'd players in the dugout.
