Zod'lek is the obligatory crazy scientist of the Xanic family. Often referred to as "The Sod", Zod'lek is by far the youngest vampire of the clan. He was created from what is believed to have been an inferior specimen by Bothia in her terrible 200's, but was allowed to unlive because of the lack of valid lifeforms to turn in the dark lands they came from. Be that as it may, Zod'lek most certainly has a stroke of genius inside him, but will also often fail at mundane tasks.

All Zod'lek really cares for is experimenting on humans, once in a while discovering ways to create new tastes or make them more easy to control, but far more often than not just wasting heaps of perfectly good thrall life in his folly.

The plenty that Graveshade has bestowed made this all right for a few years, but Ebon has decided it is time for Zod'lek to shape up and be useful to the cause or die for his master's glory. "I'm not sure which would bring me greater pleasure," he had added.
