Gilfir has been bred for nobility. Being one of the few truebloods, a direct descendant to Barahk Goldbeard, he was born to lead. But being the youngest of five siblings meant that he lived his life in the shadows of the rest of his family.

He was of course to proud to admit this and worked hard in training his mind and his body. Everyday he would work tirelessly in the mines and every night he would read book after book detailing tactics for the battlefield. But his day seemed to never come, until one day when the elders called him to their chamber.
