He was a great player, a great blitzer, and even a good scorer. He shred his part of blood on the field, but one day, during a very unlucky match against an irony squad of wood elves (how disappointing...), he broke his leg. From that day on, he never fully recovered, always enduring horrible pain on the broken bone, so he decided to retire as assistant coach.
That was a really suffered decision, mostly because he was a really able fighter on the pitch, both in offense and defense, but the dwarven coach preffered to let him sit before becaming too old. A star with a niggling injury is much more painful to remove than an experienced player. His field experience tough, proved really useful even from the bench.
Now he overlooks his ex-team mates suggesting them the best tactics to win the match, while his beard is slowing becaming grey day by day.
Let's hope his successor would be as strong as he was, anyways, thank you Odin, because you were really a great player and a great friend.
