Logan hails From Nuln like Kadrin, and the two know each other well. When Kadrin explained his plan to play for the Drunken Knights, Logan tried to talk him out of it, but found Kadrin's mind was already made up.

In the end, Logan also tried out for the team and shows great enjoyment for the the game, though he argues that "I'm only here to make sure Kadrin doesn't get himself killed, and to say 'i told you so' when he gets his nose punched off"
