A STORY OF BLOOD AND HONOUR



For a long time Khainite assassins have been regarded as a bunch of evil, unworthy and unreliable degenerates, despised by all for their greediness, their cruelty and their lack of honour. Jealoused by some for their deadliest accuracy in the ways of killing and crippling, feared by others, nowhere to be loved...
There is however in their long and twisted history some deeds and a few lores that could surprise and even tender the hardest among their detractors.
One known as the Silent Citizen for example.
When one in the Khainite tradition wants to avenge himself for a crime of honour, to wash a stain upon his reputation or to fix a great injustice, for any reason, even for a single mockery or a bad eye, one can call upon a Silent Citizen.
A company is then assembled, from whoever wants to join, to help or just for the pleasure, and marches silently to the location of the designed victim, to stab him or her each once, whoever or however mighty could be, and once each only. Such marches can easily end up with hundred of stabbers walking silently and stubbornly for the only purpose of honour, and the delighting joy of stabbing of course.
