BACKGROUND When a member of the Chekist, the Tzarina’s secret police, proves to be too cruel and sadistic they are often made to disappear by their own organisation. The Tzarina doesn’t want bloodthirsty monsters in her Chekist after all, she prefers her agents discreet and effective. There are times, however, when a brutal chekist officer has proven so competent at his job that the organisation can’t afford to lose them, in case their skills should be needed again. This is the case for Feliks Malikov, chairman of the Chebokov Chekist and scourge of many a chaos cult and innocent village alike. In order to save the poor people of Chebokov from Malikov’s attention while still keeping him in the organisation the central Chekist in Kislev tasked him with forming a local Blood Bowl team to compete in the newly started CabalVision Inter-Regional Blood Bowl League Plus. Malikov, believing that he had been honored with an important propaganda and espionage mission, took to his new coaching career with patriotic fervor. With amateur players recruited from the local leagues and military regiment and led by a coach with more knowledge about interrogation techniques than Blood Bowl strategy, the Chebokov Snowstorm is ready for the big league. PLAYERS The players have been recruited, more or less voluntarily, from the local Chebokov leagues as well as the local army regiment. TEAM OWNER The team is owned by the Chebokov Chekist, which in turn is a part of the Kislev state apparatus. HEAD COACH Feliks Malikov, head of the Chebokov Chekist. Feared by criminal and innocent alike for his indiscriminate methods of rooting out anti-kislev elements. Complete Blood Bowl amateur. STADIUM The grand Chebokov Dockside Arena, in the harbor district. The arena is majestic, but has a bit of a seagull problem. CHEERLEADER SQUAD The talented Chekist Chicks never fail to get the audience cheering! (For every cheerleader dancing there are ten undercover chekist agents in the crowds ready to identify and detain any kislevite that doesn't cheer along.) MASCOT The team mascot Snowie the Bear is very popular with the fans. The teams werebears though, they hate him and rip him to shreds any chance they get. There are no longer any volunteers for this job so the team uses prisoners from the chekist interrogation camps. HALL OF FAME SEASONS JOURNAL Bio template by Balle2000. |
