#MOVING LOCATIONS
The fans are in despair as the new owners decimate and move Bruisers to Broekwater. Many ask themselves "Will we become the new Patriots: hated and feared, but rich?". Three Barboza Super Stars are among the decimated, #9 Quarterback Grégoire Noel, #11 Go to wide receiver Dante Pettis and #12 Cornerback Franck Bozec.

#COACH RETIRE
As The Ref retires to commish a major league, the Bruisers finds themself off the Leash. Team management look to hire a new coach asap.

#DEATH OF A GIANT
Dion Dawkins is stomped upon and killed during the last seconds of the third SoS match of season 13.

It has been a brutal start of the Bruiser's season, but at least it keeps the players sharp and on edge..

#RETIREMENT DUE TO INJURIES
The first match in season 13 was a brutal one. Winning 3-0 came at a cost, with 3 head injuries and a death. Our newly drafted outside linebacker #8 Lamar Wisdom joins our ancestors in Valhalla. Defensive end #6 Tarell Basham retires to a life of stars after an amazing job at the Line of Scrimmage through 30 matches, while defensive end #9 Bryan Leaf leaves in anger, heading home to his wife. All three players were first round draftees and key to the Bruisers' aggressive defence. Their replacements, a free agent known only as "The Walk-On" and the new rookies Aiden and Anders, have a lot to live up to.

The good news is that Wide Receiver #11 Dante Pettis will continiue to play, as his head injury does not impeed his speedy work on the offence.

#COLLEGE REFORM
The Bloodhounds moved to Barboza due to the new College reform, now registered as the Barboza Bloodhounds, and the reform saw another college founded in Bragnir. Beeing a college for the toughest daughters of Bragnir, the Bragnir Rose-Munchers will continiue to feed the DLE with tough players training in harsh conditions.

#SEASON 12 STATS

#GREAT SEASON!
Despite (barely) not qualifying for the S11 playoffs, Bruisers did well in the regular season: Ranking as league's top scoring offence, second place in SPP earning tactics and second place for team passing yards Bruisers have reaped a great harvest this Season. While only top fourth in running yards, top fifth in number of blocks and top sixth in causalities, out of 32 teams we say that too is ok!

Now that we've given the fans a show worth seeing, we'll go into the draft hunting for players bringing the magnificent Bruisers to the S12 playoffs.

#STAYING IN BARBOZA
Team management has decided to keep the team in Barboza, despite previous plans of moving to Bragnir. To keep a link to Bragnir, -Barboza Bruisers- will seek to recruit players graduating from the Bragnir Bloodhounds college.

#NEW COACH, THE REF
The Ref has accepted the terms and will coach the Barboza Bruisers. There's loose plans to move the franchise to Bragnir, Norsca, but the team will as a minimum finish season 10 in Barboza (to keep the mustachio trimmers happy).

#NEW OWNERSHIP
The Barboza Bruisers change ownership from Cowhead to The Ref, with only 5 games left of Season 10.

The bling bling of the Bruisers are yet to be won.

Jan Leiner is the longest lasting player on the Bruisers, with 139 spp and 53 matches when team ownership transferred to The Ref in 2021. Outbeating his teammates (whom joined for Season 10 or later) with 3 seasons, he played his first game in Season 7.

#9 - Fast Eddie played 127 games as Catcher for Barboza Bruisers, starting out in Season 1 as the Bruisers' Franchise Player. In his 127 games for the team, he scored 64 touchdowns, rushed the ball 1055o yards, not counting sideways movement, and performed 31 blocks without causing a single casualty, earning 6 MVPs and a staggering 222 SPP. A true Legend in our books!
- Now retired (after a short period of 6 games for the Broekwater Patriots where he through 2 TDs and 2 blocks, resulting in his first and only casualty, earned another 8 SPP) to luxury at 230 SPP.
