MVP: Treeman Drychaen (https://fumbbl.com/p/player?player_id=14013190) with Triple X Achievements (2x against Blood Mountain Minos and Spitepeak Sabotage) and The Pit Excellence Prize (Most Cas -14- and Most SPPs -33-) was the best player of Swan Riders by far. --> Prestige: 100 PPts from 3 Wins and 1 Draw / from Drychaen also 20 PPts (2x Triple X Achievement / 2x The Pit Excellence from Most Cas and from Most SPPs in the Pit Division). Total 120 PPts. Best ever Season Perfomance (not only Autumn) for a Halfling Team! Y8 Winter: Only one friendly game was played against the Pahualaxa Heads-Shrinkers so that we honor one common legend Arfie Shorzenegger, a half Halfling / half Forest Halfling star of the early Fantasy Football! (Arfie Shorzenegger Memorial). Y8 Spring: Empire Regionals --> 4th Place (out of 6), 5 Pts in 5 GP (1 W - 2 D - 2 L, -2 TDD, - 9 CAD). (shared with the Hammers of the White Wolf, but won the head-to-head Game 2-1). MVP of the Team Treeman Glueck Tannenbaum . Actually nobody managed to perform constantly well during that spring. --> Prestige: 50 Pts from 1 W and 2 Ds / from the 4th Place another 10 Pts. Second best ever Spring Empire Regional Perfomance for a Halfling Team. Y8 Summer: Moot's Meat Pie Festival --> 4th Place (out of 6), 4 Pts in 4 GP (1 W - 1 D - 2 L +1 Win by Forfeit, -3 TDD, +7 CAD). The tournament was stunty oriented. MVP of the Team Halfling Catcher Juan Vanidor. In a relative bad tournament performance for the Swan Riders, Juan shined scoring 3 TDs. The team has managed to become faster, but it was evident that we have many problems playing against other stunties. Our Blocking game was on the other side good. --> Prestige: 70 Pts from our results and 10 Pts from the 4th Place. Drychaen achieved Star Status, thus another 10 Points. Y8 Autumn Wood Division (9th of the 12 Divisions). --> 7th Place (out of 8), 5 Pts in 7 GP (1 W - 2 D - 4 L, -4 TDD, - 16 CAD). Despite the odds Swan Riders managed to qualify for the Wood Division alongside the similar age teams of Corpse Run Nightmares, Scraphead Scrappers and Crystal Mere Mystics. A huge achievement for a Halfling team. The division was pretty tough and the team suffered a lot having a -16 Casualties deficit! Despite that we fought hard all our games managing to steal some points and upset some opponents. It was very difficult for our players to play, when they were in the most cases instantly removed from game while being blocked. #5 Halfling Catcher Juan Vanidor had arguably the best overall Perfomance with 2 TDs, 1 Cmp and 1 Cas, 40 Rushing Yards and 67 Turns Played and 7 Blocks. Not very impressive Stats, but these were the best stats among the Swan Riders. --> Prestige: 50 Pts from our results. Glueck Tannenbaum achieved Star Status, thus another 10 Pts. But this 60 PP was barely enough to cover the loss of the 50 PP from our brilliant Y7 Autumn perfomance and for the first time in their history Swan Riders lost places in the prestige rankings. Y9 Winter Low Friendly . Swan Riders decided to skip their normal vacations and play some friendlies, so that to prepare for the next difficult Empire Championship and be accustomed with the new rules of the game. 1 W - 1 D - 1 L against Earth Elementals - Zoats and Ninja Flings respectively. During our Friendlies we lose Juan Vanidor, our most talented and productive Halfling Catcher, who was on his way to become our first Halfling Star. Defense remained bad, but at least we managed after a lot of time to show offensive capabilities. Nice that the perfect TTM are considered also as Completions. Treeman #1 Gluec Tannenbaum is now the leading Thrower of the Team! It seems also that we have also a some kind of blitzer (#13 Mateo Boriseli) and a (ball-)thrower (#3 Easton Shado) in the team. Y9 Spring Empire Regionals: 5th Place (out of 6), 3 Pts in 5 GP (1 W - 4 L, - 10 TDD, - 17 CAD). Our worst appearrance ever! Empire has become one of the bashiest championships and Swan Riders has many problems to cope with against this meta. Many games finished with a complete annihillation of the halfling part of the team. With no players to field our defense was non existent: as a result we had many heavy defeats with 4-0 and 3-0. The good thing is that we managed a surprise win against the Hammers, which we gladily enjoyed. Deeproot was amazing: he played 3 Games and inflicted 7 Casualties! He was the MVP of our team in this tournament. Special mentions go also to both our Treemen, who both achieved Super Status (Glueck has also become a very reliable team-mate thrower becoming the best Blocking Thrower of the Empire!) and to former Hefty, now Thrower, Easton Shado, who with his 6 Completions took the Empire´s Fame/Infamy Prize for the Most Completions! Y9 Summer Skirshakk's Nightmare : 8th Place out of 8, 0W- 1 D - 5 L, - 7 TDD, -10 CAD. You must never say the worst appearance ever, because it could always be much worst. Our first last place in the history of the Swan Riders came this summer. Summer is always the time for experiment for CIBBL and we played as a Team with the sharkmen of the Predators of the Deep. They actually managed to pick many points for our team, we not. The good thing is that we became CIBBL Silver Partner; halfway to become Gold Partner! Gavin Enril killed also a Star adding 20 personal Prestige Points to the team. Y9 Autumn Granite Division (7th of 10 Divisions): 7th Place (out of 8), 4 Pts (0 W - 1 D - 4 L, 1 Forfeit Win and 1 Forfeit Loss, -5 TDD, - 14 CAD). Worst Autumn Perfomance, despite that we managed to give some very competent and nice perfomances this time. Team is in decline and it seems that we cannot turn the tide and realistically we can only fight to avoid the last place... Easton Shado picked another one prize as the best Thrower for his collection, this time outplaying even the Isha Elves in our Division! Y10 Winter Mid-Low Friendlies: The tradition has been kept. Another friendly game with our legendary rivals Crystal Mere Mystics and another loss. The extremely peculiar one was that Drychaen was the only player in the Mid-Low Friendlies that made a pass in all the games played! With his one Completion took the Child of Winter Prize to add to his big achievement collection! Y10 Spring Empire Regionals --> 6th Place (out of 6), 0W - 2 D - 3 L, - 5 TDD, - 15 CAD. Yes, first time that we finished last in our regional championship, but we put a very good fight. Our main weakness remained the survivability, but we created some headaches, before we succumbed to the attrition. A lot more achievements also have been added in the team during the competition. Halfling Catcher #6 Maddox Odana became our Hirst Halfling Star! Treeman Blocker #1Glueck Tannenbaum took his first Triple X achievement! Halfling Thrower #3 Easton Shado kept for a second time the Empire's Prize for the Most Completions (6)! Similar, the prize for the best Blocking Thrower remained at the hands of Swan Riders with Treeman Blocker #2 Drychaen succeeding Tannenbaum! Lastly, our oldest Halfling #15 Bryce Caerno became the best Fouler (14) of the Empire. --> Prestige 20 PP from results and 40 PP from achievements Y10 Summer [https://fumbbl.com/p/group?op=view&at=1&group=10455&p=tournaments&show=58624]10th CIBBL Team Anniversary:Seven Samples of Decay. Still ongoing but vital members of the team died during the first games. Both Superstar Treemen in the first game and our Star Halfling Thrower Easton Shado in the second. The team is literaly starting over, since they are now an almost skilles team.
