Member of PEBBL https://fumbbl.com/p/ruleset?id=3119 Lore: In the far mystic east lies a dwarven fortress city the Banking. The dwarf creatures of Banking, and surrounding areas as well, call themselves Drowf. The Drowfs are extremely fascinated by dark and mystic arts of espionage and infiltration - or like the commoners in the west say: "Ninja-things". Also, like all respectable high cultures, they enjoy the art of body binding and physical alteration. Especially long legs and muscular arms are highly valued. This has led to parents tying the legs of their offspring to stretchers in order to make them grow longer. It is also common in the Drowf culture to learn various "cantrip skills" that can be useful at right situations, but are mostly overlooked by the western Dwarf cultures and considered to be nothing more than party tricks to raise the mood between pints. 🍺 Linedrowf is your average joe, nothing special for a drowf, but maybe the will to play and train BB which makes the quite ok at brawling. 🤑 Dark Knight: Higher on the hierarchy than normal people, be it thru born rights or elbowing in the society - or plain wealth. These guys are more on the move and eager to make fame and their name known, in hopes of getting more prestige. They are ready to kick the people that stand in their way to higher status. In the end they are still drowf and have learned a few unusual ways to get their hands on things and to put said things in the right place when needed. 🥷 Shadow Adept: If there would be a dwarf ninja, it could resemble something like a Drowf that has decided to become a Shadow Adept. Their training starts from birth as the parents start the body alterations early on to achieve better results - which might explain why the Adepts usually inherit their trait from their parents or family. Shadow Adepts aim to be nimble, cool headed and read the minds of their competitors. All which are good qualities for a BB player 🦋 Moth Master: They might seem somewhat similar to Shadow Adepts, but that would be an outsiders misinterpretation. Moth Master value controlling the gentle ascpects of the night and the currents of winds. Thus they don't posses much of the raw strength as they focus on being one with the night air. Large hands are said to be an advantage in pursue of become a Grand Master so every respectable candidate will have large hands. They also like moths, of course, since Night Moths are considered magical in the Drowf mythology and it is said that Banking was founded by some Moth Grand Masters after the moths showed them the way thought some hostile Cathay territory. 🏋️♂️ Drowflord Tosser: Drowflords like to be carried around on different kinds of furniture or shields to show their prestige to the people. Usually the carrying is done by these earthy beings that are bind to the will of the lord by magic. The name Tosser comes from the people as they see this kind of behavior a bit too obvious and is considered a bad taste to show off in such a manner - and a sign of small "member", obviously compensating something, you know. Its quite common for one of there lords to gather up a BBteam and since its risky - and hard work - to actually play, the lords put their golems to play instead, These Tossers will then demonstrate the power of the lord by showing how little the other Drowf are and pushing them around. The Drowf like to stand up (for themselves) every now and then like nothing happened, just to show the lords that nobody tosses a Drowf!
