The Ostermark Squeelers are an up-and-coming franchise based in Bechafaen in Ostermark. The region is known for its luscious wooded area and their local Spleenz Foods head quarters, and now their new franchise of the GDR.

The amateur team in Bechafaen, originally called 'The Steelers', existed for many years before an incursion from the Chaos Wastes. After brutal fighting, a peace was declared and the men of the Empire and the Greenskins from beyond the mountains and they managed to live together in a delicate harmony.

The greenskins contributed to the local economy and subsequently formed their own Blood Bowl team - the Gryphon Wood Spiders. After a particularly tense match against the Bechafaen Steelers, and seeing how effective these newcomers could be, the two teams agreed to merge.

Thanks to a healthy injection of gold from the Spleenz CEO, Art Rooney, the Squeelers have acquired a seasoned Head Coach in the imperious Deepfruit Tomlin, a well-appointed new stadium, and stylish new uniforms.
