The Carcasonne Snarlfangs are an up-and-coming franchise based in Carcasonne near the foothills of the Irranna Mountains. The region is known for its luscious fields and livestock, and now their new franchise of the GDR.

The amateur team in Carcasonne, originally called 'The Panthers', existed for many years before an incursion from the Iranna Mountains. After brutal fighting, a peace was declared and the men of the Empire and the Greenskins from beyond the mountains managed to live together in a delicate harmony.

The greenskins contributed to the local economy and subsequently formed their own Blood Bowl team - the Irrana Mountain Invaders. After a particularly tense match against the Carcasonne Panthers, and seeing how effective these newcomers could be, the two teams agreed to merge.

Thanks to a healthy injection of gold from the local lord, Duke David Tepper, the Sanrlfangs have acquired a seasoned Head Coach in the imperious Nobbla Fox, a well-appointed new stadium, and stylish new uniforms.
