The Malaprops are a bumbling bunch who have a hard time organizing plays on the pitch. Despite the fact that they have developed a friendly style unique among ogres (check out their casualty ratio for proof), most teams take one glance and turn them away. On December 14, 2004, the Malaprops were rated as the top ogre team in Ranked with TR 232, following a game against the Lost Heroes. Subsequently the same day, they were rated as the strongest ogre team in Ranked with TS 214, after playing the Blood Canticle. No longer being able to afford life on the road (we made a grand total of 50K over the last eight games), the Malaprops are taking an indefinate break from touring. The players blame poor coaching for losses on the pitch and the subsequent losses of fans, while the coach blames the players' rastafarian tendencies and their consumption of dubious combustibles. However, what they all agree on is that they need a big exhibition game against a team guaranteed to bring in the fans, in order to kick start them on the road again. We're back on the road, with a 1-1 tie with the Crow Crown! |
