Gnomeregan was once a bustling settlement, with traders from all over the old world bartering for the newest creations of the Gnomes. The gnomes kept all the best creations for themselves and sold any malfunctioning equipment to the unsuspecting humans that left in awe of the Gnomes' great masterpieces. Deep within the core of the city, several miles underground, are the factories and laboratories where the Gnomes make all kinds gadgets and concoctions, but a place exists where even the Gnome Minister of Industry doesn't know about. The government cloaks it is lies, and denies it's existence stubbornly. A group of the greatest Gnome Engineers from the Gnomeregan Gizmo Guild have been charged to build an army of robotic Gnomes to ensure the survival of the Gnome race from the threat of Orcs. Animated Gnomes are designed, developed, and produced... but how do the Scientist know if they are battle worthy? The severely crippled Imperial Army is no true representation of the Orc Hordes the robots will be facing. So the idea has come about to introduce them into the game of Bloodbowl. They may look like living, breathing Gnomes to you, but in fact they are fusion-powered monstrosities!
