Forced to leave Norsca following the unexplained murder of his ailing chieftain (fell on his sword 17 times and it presumed dead because only his body was found...some of it anyway...), Haraldr fell in with a crew of unsubtle Norse and soon took command of his own ship, Morkai, named after the legendary wolf who bars the gates of the underworld. Many were their exploits, but in time all things must end. Captured and his prized boat a blazing wreck on the horizon, Haraldr found himself in the port city of Marienburg. Staging a valiant escape, he and his men evaded the authorities by hiding in the one place they were too afraid to follow: the exhalted fields of the Blood Bowl. Storming into their first game the old crew knew they had found their true calling. Renaming themselves as the Fangs of Morkai, in homage both to their beloved craft and the pitiless demi-god, they have taken to the blood soaked field as well as can be expected from a dozen blood maddened lunatics. |
