| This is an intellectual orc team, fully versed in the rather un-orcish skill of literacy. This unusual skill allowed them to read the Bloodbowl rules...which revealed an amazing new aspect of the game.. Apparently, there is this object called a "ball" which each team tries to place in their opponent's "endzone." This involves actions such as "picking up the ball", "passing", and "handoffs." Besides explaining much of the strange behavior by their elven opponents in the past, this opened up a whole new way of playing the game. No longer content with bashing, the team began picking up this "ball" and scoring "touchdowns." The Black Ocs led the way with enthusiasm, scoring many of the teams touchdowns...although their energetic pickups forced frequent ball replacements. Now, these Orcs actually win games, rather than just smashing their opponents...and they find it surprisingly satisfying. After all, nothing wipes the smirk off an Elf's face like being outscored by an Orc. |
