Da Izy Deff was founded in 2993 by a handful of illdisposed and immensely unpopular orcish assasins, who thirsted to make a name for themselves. Under the guidance of master assasin Karlan 'Nightblade' Gzangak, the Deff built a quite unusual and unorcishly playing team. In their debut season in 2994 the Deff quickly descended towards the bottom of the league in an orgy of backstabbing, poisoning, karatei-stunts and very little actual bowling. By the end of the '97-season, the founding board decided to fire Gzangak, due to the lack of positive results and the following decrease in public interest. In their search for another direction for the Deff, the board stumbled across the retired, old Goughed Eye-coach, Ferlan D'Zanboot. D'Zanboot joined on a short-term contract, miraculously changing the Deff into becoming a winning team. Soaring towards fame, and the famed FUMBBL, the Deff took the Badlands Open Trofy in '98 and '99, won the Moon Tribal League in '99, '00 and '01 and climbed as far as to the quarterfinals of the international Chaos Cup in '02.
