| My very first team, way back upon a time, was the Norse team <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=67820">Long Bomb</a>. They weren't particularly successful, but I have learned a lot since then. I think it's about time we pull these boys out of mothballs and test them anew... ********************************************************************** Looks like this team is in for a violent future. The very first block received in the team's existence resulted in a dead lineman. The first cas caused by our team in return was a dead CD blocker. But to open a team's career with a win vs a higher rated opponent is a good sign! After 6 games, we are a perfect 6-0-0. In fact, only one team has managed to score even a single time against us! Not the two chaos dwarf teams, nor the two chaos teams, not the lizards. Kinda kicking myself over it, too...it was an all-skeleton khemri team (thanks to handicaps) where I underestimated the skellies and didn't field a couple deep safeties, instead stacking the LOS. He was able to pickup / catch / blitz / gfi / dodge / survive a blitz / dodge his way to a score...with agi 2. Let this be a lesson, not to underestimate my opponents any more! Game 7 we learned another lesson...when you get the chance to score end of the half, do so. Don't block first, just score. We blocked and failed, lost the score, and the game ended a 1-1 tie instead of a 2-1 victory. Lesson learned... Finally lost our first game in lucky game #13...how fitting...and how stupidly I played, including a frustration block late w/o rr or apo backup, killing the team spp and cas leader blitzer. Note to self... Game #22 and #23 have become our first losing streak, thanks to Nuffle favoring some damned elves with flawless games where they didn't roll a single one, resulting in the death of a blitzer to boot. Grr! Game #25 was a draw with some orcs who pounded us down, but couldn't put us out of the fight!
