Ol' Bleached Bones

<i>The O'l Bleached Bones is made up entirely of previous Bloodbowl stars
who simply refuse to give up. Most of them died in such a horrible
manner that the shock of death caused them so severe traumas that some
have even forgotten that they are actually dead - or just refuse to
acknowledge it! Some just recieved too many blows to their head in the course
of their respective carreers and are too dimwitted to get it.

Say what can be said but one thing is certain about the team -
seldom before has a team as incompetent as these stepped upon the arena floor
to fight against the many teams of the Old World and beyond, and seldom before has anyone done it with as little grace as these ol' bones!</i>

Realizing that the team would never win any tournaments that wasn't rigged the team sponsors signed the Bones up for the <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=2531>League of Heroic Failure</a> in order to at least try and win <i>some</i> kind of throphy they would have
a genuine shot at. Of course the proud members of the team would never
really agree to sign up in a league that was founded for what some might
deem losers of BB as they still believe themselves to be on top of their game.
So the coach had to be be slightly creative in the way he presented the news
to the players. This means that most of team now believe that they are now part of
something called the <b>League of Heroics</b> with the <i>Hat of Bravery</i> at stake.
Most of the players agree that they have never seen a prize that possess the
same splendour as the HoB and that it's jewel incrusted carvings are truly amazing.

'Mad Dog' Winston claimed that the coach and the board were leading them on and that the tourney and indeed the price itself was just a big hoax.

"Any fool can see it's just a worn top hat with dents in it," he said when he saw the trophy.

Of course he was right so we gave him the position of assistant coach (retired due to niggle).
