Norsicans all have one thing in common, they love to kill. When word of Blood Bowl came to there native land there were riots in the streets over who would be chosen for the team. After the smoke had cleared, the victors were obvious. They were quite confused by where they play the game so they would wander from place to place playing in fields, parks, forrests, and rarely an arena. They could not find a proper name for there team for years. One day they were in route for Grok'zug to play the Suggok Orcs before arival they were attacked by pirates. The pirates were blinded by greed as they wished to keep the ships treasures so they aranged a boarding party. Captain "Redbeard" Krag was so bold as to board the ship with 20 other crewman, none returned. Most of the pirates were killed by massive blows to the head and crushing injuries. Captain Redbeard wasn't so lucky. The Nosic brawlers pierced him through the stomache, heart, and neck. They removed his head and hung it from the flagpole with two crossed blades entering his skull and purtruding the oposite side. He hangs there to this day and the Norsic players finally decided on a name. Redbeard's Reaper..

The Norse also found a use for these pirates. The boarding pardy was not the end of the terror caused by the Norse. The entire pirate ship was burned to the ground with the remaining pirates inside. But the Reapers stole the pirate treasure and used it to build one of the first Official Norse Battle Arenas
