<b>Imperial Legion XVII</b> - "The Bloodlake Legion" The Legion was created by Imperator Maraketh in the Age of Retribution as the Seventeenth Imperial Legion, and Pontifex Leriel Vixi was ordained it's Preator. The Seventeenth Legion hail from a group of the People living in the ultmost north of the Empire. Their Witches had lead their people in to the worshiping of a stern Godess that dwelled in a mysterious Lake of Blood. This "Bloodlake Legion" were long serving as a tool to extract vengeance uppon the 'Enemies of the Empire', untill rumours of bloodthirst and horrid bloodrituals were beginning to spreat not only amongst the enemy, but amongst the People of the Empire itself! Preator Leriel Vixi was beng reprimanded and confined in his moenia yet he was ordained the rank Preator Maximus. Preator Maximus Leriel gave his old rank to his second in command and Preator Thamaziel is now acting as the voice of the Preator Maximus within the Seventeenth Legion. His security always guarded by two of the People of the Blood Lake's cunning Witches. Preator Maximus Leriel shifted the duties of the Seventeenth Imperial Legion to the political games of BloodBowl so that the sinister rumours concerning the practices of the legion would die off. Or so it was thought. |
