Frustrated at the hierarchy of the priestess-hood of the dark, priestess Veyhessia managed, through long and patient effort, to save, seduce and steal the resources she needed to found her own Blood Bowl team as a means of quick advancement and finding the favor of the dark gods.
Quickly realizing her dreams of fielding a legendary side was well beyond her means, she started small with a bunch of linemen and a single blitzer, rumored to be of fine Blood Bowl stock.

Said blitzer carried the team through its early games, and ever since, Hell's Heart has slowly grown, getting some attention and fan furor built up around its strong beginning.
