| It din't take long for the Colonies to "grow" some pestilence in their sanitation systems. Even though most of their garbage gets recycled; rats, bacteria and other organism started spredding in the "sewers", a word taken from the Old World. And because the "sewers" are small and narrow the Dwarves are a suitable race for the job of clensing them of filth. And the strenght and stamina of the dwarves makes them even live it out for a while. Cause down in the "sewers" the most horrified and deadly creatures sometimes evolve. The occupation has a long history, dating back to the first dawn of the Dwarven Kingdoms. The Tunnel Sweepers of old used to hunt down unwanted and unlucky "guest" in the caverns connecting the variuos mining Kingdoms. Playing blood bowl is also an old and such a respected trade among dwarves that when the first League started out in the Colonies. Then the Dwarves where among the first to enter with a team. The first season went really well. After some really bad games (draws), we sacked Coach Greenbeard, and ended the first season as winners. And we havent lost since Coach Ironforge took over. We now have a undefeated streak of 7 games. The only thing that can make us not win this season also is ourselves. Cause there's no team better than us. |
