A remake of my original FUMBBL team for the faction leagues

The Erengard Ravens

originally formed 30 years ago as the "Erengard Eagles" to compete in the amatuer leagues around Erengard, there first fifteen seasons started mediocre, rampaged through bad and slammed into disasterous. The teams organisers were considering shutting up shop until a famous amatuer blitzer named Dieter Raven joined the team.

Dieter quickly took over captaincy, and soon ownership of the team as his intense training regimes pushed the team up the rankings in the amateur league and finally, 2 years ago, into the semi-professional leagues.

The Semi-professional leagues hit the Ravens hard, they lost there first 4 matches, with many casualties weakening the team. Even Dieter was outclassed by the Semi-pro's he faced. however, Dieter was not egotistical, he studied there opponents tactics religiously and pushed his team into ever harder training regimes, and soon the Ravens were holding there own. they were still losing 4 out of 5 games, but they were no longer being decimated.

Then one day Dieter came across a half-ogre named Jurgen Brikfeist in a local tavern, and managed somehow to get him on the team. this signalled a meteoric rise to success within the Semi-pro leagues, Jurgen gave the team the hitting power they needed.

now, after dominating the Erengard Semi-pro's for a season, and after a summer of the most intense training yet, the Erengard Ravens are finally ready to makea stab at the big time, The professional leagues.

"following our success in the unranked professional tournaments, the team returned to their homeland for some much needed rest and relaxation, however this was to prove to end all too soon. The teams former owners approached me with an offer i couldnt refuse, the Faction Tournament. Following a winter of heavy training and therapy, the team now sets forth to embark upon a new career, lean and fit from the training we hope to excel, forgetting some of the miseries of the previous season"
