| Following several embarassing defeats while ambushing merchant caravans, the Big Boss Morgluk faced an angry (and probably fatal) fight for leadership of his raiding party: Morgluk's Raiders. However, no individual Orc in the party wished to fight their leader; Morgluk was stupid, but by far the biggest Orc in the group. The situation was resolved by an unusually intelligent suggestion from a Goblin slave: Perhaps the party would make better Blood Bowl players than they did Raiders. The unfortunate Goblin was soundly beaten for suggesting that the Orcs were bad at their job, however the idea was readily taken up by Morgluk and his Boyz. With little knowledge of the rules of Blood Bowl and a rebellious attitude towards their new Head Coach, the newly formed 'Morgluk's Maulers' set off in search of fame, booty and..well...fighting! Update: A disastrous beating in their first match placed Morgluk in danger of a takeover once more. However, a cornered, outnumbered Orc can sometimes develop incredible powers of diplomacy, and Morgluk persuaded the Boyz to play one more match. Victory over the 'pointy eared gits' renewed the Mauler's support for their leader. Once more confident that the biggest Orc really is the best leader, the Maulers are ready to take on all comers. |
