Founded on the belief that death, being the ultimate outcome for all life, should be embraced rather than rejected, the Cult of Death was founded to worship Azeieal, the dark angel of death. followers believe that death in combat will send them to a higher plane of exsistance, and killing someone in combat will buy them an even higher place in heaven.

why this cult has taken off amounst the halflings is not understood, but certain sections of the population have deicated themselves to it, maybe seeing their inherent fragility and a willingness to fight as being more worthy than a larger race that would be able to fight and kill more easily, whatever the case, the team is the public face of the cult, and the only bloodbowl team to rejoice in casualties.
