The Marienburg Brawler Boys (MBB) has humble beginnings. Childhood friends born into the wealthy families of Marienburg, no institution of education was out of their reach, their lives were made. Had it not been for their total disregard of the "civilised" lifestyle, they could have made excellent scholars. Maybe even lawyers. Alas, it was not to be. After being expelled from all the major schools in the Empire, even the most self denying parent had to realize that their spoiled brat with a penchant for violence was just that. Wanting the eyesore on the families otherwise spotless social gowns whiped away, the MBB's parents convinced them their time would be a lot better spent competing in the Blood Bowl arenas. After giving their boys a healthy amount of cash and seeing them off, from a safe distance, they promplty removed them all from their family trees and made sure they would not inherit a single bronze dinaar. And they all lived happily ever after. ** Reason For Retirement ** Sure, they never won, but they were still a load of fun to play. Being the first team I made, it was very nostalgical realizing Retirement was for the best. With a FF of 2, I could not keep up with all the replacements. Tought me the lesson of not making a team with 5 FF though! And isnt that just the prettiest custom logo ever? :-) |
