Following Marcus's death upon the battlefield, he was reborn by the dark will of a Lahmian Princess who took favour upon him. But even in undeath his bretonnian spirit lived on, hungering for justice and virtue. For years he remained inconsolable, until he heard of the corruption in the world of blood bowl. Seeking a method by which to enter the arena, he beseached his princess to teach him necromantic lore, ultimately raising a crude team from his former friends and allies, hoping that their virtuous lives would shine through in their un-death. The Undead Legion of L'Anguille now march the fields of the old world and beyond, facing peril, and near-damage in their pursuit of justice.
