<p>The <b>BASSilisk Nippon Corporate Fummbl League Concern</b> began as a rap group
best known in Japan as the Fuki Saki Emcees.</p>
<p>Naturally, because Lizardmen are not particularly well known for their rhythm,
and because American audiences refuse to lend any credence to foreign urban
music, AND because Tadahito Ishigawa's <b>Nippon Corporate Fummbl League Concern</b> &trade;
generally makes one bad investment per year, the unranked <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=336559" target="_blank">Sucka Emcees</a> were
launched to little or no fanfare earlier this spring under the assumed impression
that they would play smashmouth football and never, EVER touch a microphone again.</p>
<p>Of course, a rag tag gang of reptilian rappers really don't belong on a football
field, but it didn't take the team long to realize that even though they
couldn't rhyme, dance, deejay, produce or even lipsynch to Ice Ice Baby, they
were still freakin' lizardmen and could pretty much pound the crap outta
somebody if they needed to.</p>
<p>After clawing their way to a <b>2/1/2</b> record and very quick increase of the fan base,
it was decided that the Sucka Emcees might actually make some serious cabbage and
maybe Ishigawa had finally dodged a bullet, therefore ~ after some deliberation,
including a decision to not let the team players (whose English skills are considerably
poor) pick the team name this time ~ it was worth a larger investment.</p>
<p>So it was that the <b>BASSilisks</b> were launched with average fanfare, a tightly run
media campaign (including celebrity cameos by their coach <b>Mr. Celebrity Cameo, Esq.</b>),
collectible stuffed animals, team jerseys, bumperstickers, foam fingers, and free cases
of <b>Ishigawa Nippon Corporate Wasabi Beer Microbrewery Foundation</b> lager.</p>
<p>The rap group, however, has yet to hear word from Def Jam about their demo.</p>
