Once upon a time in the deepest caves of the deepest jungles of the Currlands, there were a bunch of lizzards that evolved following a certain path: the AE, or Alternative Evolution. Scientists say that birds evolved from dinosaurs, growing a pair of wings in their back and a very light bone structure inside which allowed them to fly.

AE worked with limited time and tools. How to make these fat and not-winged-at-all animals to fly through the air? At first, AE tried to insert hidrogen into its creations, but due to its high volatility, AE was running out of minions. While most of their creations exploded with fatal consequences, some of them rejected the "winds" from different holes of their bodies.

Each action has a reaction. These smelly flatulences made some of the smallest lizards to raise from the floor a few centimeters. That was the solution! No feathers, no wings and no ligh bones... Farts! Their lizards would fly by farts!

Nowadays, the AE is working on new advances for its lizards, and has taken them to the Blood Bowl pitch in order to persuade the most conservative scientists that the AE is a perfect valid idea.
