| Kriskit Foulpus, owner and coach of the Privateers, was once a particularly bloodthirsty warlord for clan Pestilins. He led attacks on the lizardmen of Lustria for years before falling into disfavor with the Council of 13. With his falling power, and more and more other warlords striving to take his place, he gathered the last of his slave rats, clan rats, and loyal(ish) troops, and set out to regain his power on other shores. His crew sailed for years, losing time and again in raids and attacks on isolated villages the oceans over. When he steeled his resolve for what seemed likely to be his final battle, he found a shore where the races gathered not in mortal combat with swords and shields, but for a gathering of sport to decide the fate of the Isle of Albion. It seemed the perfect gambit for the captian, for even if he lost, and never could gain control through the promise of the game, he would only lose a few more rats. So he and his second, Festitt, set to equipping and beating a handful of the remaining clanrats into shape for the coming battles. He studied the game, and knowing he had no means to acquire the great skaven players from the other clans, such as the dreaded gutter runners of clan Eshin, or the rat ogres of clan Moulder , he knew he'd have to find a means to contact his distant kin.
