| This team is competing in <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=5002">The Gauntlet</a>. <p align=left> <u><b>vs Dwarves</b></u> <b>SillySod</b> - Lost 2-0, but RIP a Longbeard and a Runner (on T16 foul). I consider it a win. :) <b>Licentious</b> - Won 2-1, and RIP a Longbeard on T16. It seems I need to have T16 more often. Perhaps lots of Injury Time. <b>princevaliant</b> - Lost 1-0, and not even a single Cas. The dice were pretty awful this game, with many failed rerolls. <b>Khudzlin</b> - 0-0 tie, due to the Flings ignoring the ball, which enabled them to niggle both AG3 Dwarves on the opposing team. Not RIPs, but still not a bad showing. <b>Dunkpork</b> - 0-0 tie against the leading Dwarf team (at that point). Flings could have scored several times, but chose to stall for the sure tie. No cas except for BH. :( <b>warpork</b> - Lost 2-0, but RIP a Longbeard and niggled a Runner. Another successful game. <b>Chewie</b> 1-1 tie, and RIP a Longbeard. <b>harkoninuse</b> - 1-0 win. Unfortunately, the Halflings failed to cause any permanent injuries in their final game. Match record - 2/3/3, so only 3 Dwarves gained points. Total Dwarven casualties - 5 RIP, 3 niggled. <u><b>vs Halflings</b></u> <b>Ro</b> - Tie game, despite a complete nuffling 1st half, and a biased ref all game long. Only on T16 did the Dwarves seem to shake off the effects of the binge drinking, finally causing a few cas. <b>Dunkpork</b> - Another tie game, thanks to a combination of Injury Time, a Halfling -2d blitz on the ball, and a failed T16 GFI to score. Still, several Cas while suffering no injuries made it a worthwhile match. <b>Chewie</b> - Tie, what else. A complete nuffling for the Dwarves in the first half, followed by a complete nuffling for the Halflings in the second. Despite this, the hairier of the two short races couldn't manage to convert it to a win. <b>HunterX</b> - Finally, a win (2-1). Clearing 8 Flings from the pitch with just 2 MB players certainly helped, but the bulk of the credit has to go to some of the worst luck I've ever seen in BB. I think Hunter is a lock for 'Most Nuffled' this season. <b>princevaliant</b> - A 2-0 win, but the Dwarves suffer their first casualty this game, with Deeproot niggling the only Dwarf to show some organization and leadership. Luckily he'd been training an understudy. <b>Khudzlin</b> - Won 2-0, as Khudzlin made a valiant effort at wrenching 'Most Nuffled' away from Hunter. <b>.</b> <b>.</b> </p> |
