Determined to make His mark on the galaxy, a little known Sith Lord set about experimenting with Sith Alchemy with the intent of creating a team of mutants capable of claiming the title of Galactic Champion and to enable Him to trick the Jedi Council into bestowing the position of Jedi Patriarch upon Him.

During the course of His experiments, He realised that some of His creations could be trained in the ways of the force, and of course these were His favoured creations which He spent most of His time on. However, He could not take more than two 'adepts' at any time, though once these mutants had been trained to a sufficient level, they could continue to learn on their own, with minor guidance.

The major genetic strains used for experimenting are those of the Kowakian monkey-lizards and the Gamorreans. These were chosen for the Kowakian agility and nature, and the Gamorrean strength. However, in most successful experiments, there was mostly Kowakian monkey-lizard DNA present, leading to a more fragile, but cruel and dangerous, core of players.

The Dark Jedi himself never takes to the field, preferring to spend His time either training His 'adepts' or in the laboratory working on His newest ideas. He leaves the running of the team during games to these 'apprentices', and the standard noticeably drops if they are off the field.

Due to some of the side effects of the experiments, and the challenges of playing high level Bloodbowl, the weaker elements of the team need to be constantly replaced. Fortunately, His constant experimenting produces many suitable candidates for this.


<b>Guide To Team Naming</b>

The 'adepts' are given the title 'Darth' to distinguish them as (at least semi-able) users of the Dark side of the force.

However, for the less developed, core players on the team, they are still referred to by their experiment ID, consisting of a four letters, followed by a sequence of four numbers within square brackets, thus creating a unique title. For failed experiments, and repeats under certain conditions, names are reused.<p></td></tr> </table>
