1st version.

To start, let's place to history. Jabba and its court have earn a great gift, found in a cargo bay of merchantship, who barely crash without reason on an neutral zone, but it's another story....A couple of rancoor, one for it's first home on, the castle of its clan Tatooine, and the another in its secondary residence on Fangor, symbol of its victory about its young cousin and its religious slave trade...

A rancoor its a good way to distract, just give him some living food and its entertainement for all the court. But that take all its sense, the first time, the Hut give at rancoor some Jawas who sell him some defectuous droids. Let's imagine, some jawas running in all direction, pursue by a creature 12 feet bigger...Jabba was happy, and surprise.

He decide to found a teams of Jawas. Armed with energized littles spikes, they attract the Rancoor and when they're been grapled by the giant hand, pick him the nose when caught. The rancoor throw when, by some unknow reflex, in the opposite direction. The manoeuver must be done rapidly, else the poor Jawa finish in little meal for the beast. The fact is Jabba, is happy to see the two options....
